Health Education & Promotion


Gain professional expertise in the areas of program planning, implementation and evaluation of disease prevention, and health promotion activities.

Georgia Southern University trains health education and promotion majors to conduct educational programs on a spectrum of health related topics. This major also provides the foundation to advance in graduate degree programs such as the Master of Public Health (M.P.H.), the Master in Health Services Administration (M.H.S.A.), Physicians Assistant (P.A.) Programs, and other Allied Health areas.

This program consists of 125 semester credits and is designed to be completed in four years.
